Girls Cake Decoration Course with Wilton Certified Decorator

Get your girls baking with this awesome course tailored for beginners and conducted by a Wilton Certified Decorator.

Course 1 ( Basic to Intermediate Level)

This course is to impart basic to intermediate level of baking to the participants. They get professional baking tips and techniques which are generally not available. Participants will get the basics of baking framework, recipes and that would lead them into unlimited option of combinations to get a variety of taste. These are covered in 4 sessions of 3 hours each. The contents will be as follows:

• Basics of baking

• Reading recipes,

• Measuring, scaling ingredients,

• Pan Preparation

• Baking conversions

• Baking substitutions

11. Cake decorating course

What you learn:You will learn about:

·       Different types of icing and how to make them.

Kids’ Art Workshop

Nabeela Parvees, a psychologist, conducts  arts and craft classes for children and ladies. She feels that children in Jeddah spend too much time playing on gadgets and “don’t realise the emotional and social life around them”. Nabeela believes that she understands the importance of creativity in children in their psychological development and is trying her best to impart a little joy to improve their life skills.

Art Attack: Creative Art Classes for Children

Uzma Sabahat is a Pakistani expat with a background in textile and fashion designing who moved to Jeddah last year. She realised soon enough that many children including her own, lacked access to creative activities, ending up watching cartoons and playing video games. She began organizing weekly art and craft classes at her house teaching the basic and advance elements and principles of art at affordable rates, and has so far had a great response from attendees.
